Venice, CA - March 21, 2001 - Zoomdot, design, development, and marketing for the online economy, announced today that the company will present a free seminar on April 3rd, 2001, entitled "The Online Business Survival Guide". The seminar is designed to show the ways that companies can use online business to gain competitive advantage. The seminar will be co-sponsored by Microsoft, and will be held at their offices in Santa Monica, California.

Zoomdot will help to show how online business can be successful by combining business strategy, creative website design and technology development. Zoomdot will also share some of the latest research and best practices from top industry analysts. In addition, the company will be showcasing their "real-world" experiences chronicling successful website development projects.

"We are seeing many online companies stumble or fall right now, largely due to ignoring the fundamentals," said Zoomdot President and Chief Technology Officer Ron Evans. "At this seminar, we are going to show business people what they need to know to get value out of doing business online. We will take a look at the lessons that have been learned by others the hard way, see what is working, and give them some of the tools needed to get their own companies going."

"Doing business online means that companies have to be more competitive and responsive than ever before," said Rosa Garcia, general manager of the Partner Programs Group at Microsoft. "Our Microsoft Certified Partners like Zoomdot are on the front-lines every day helping companies achieve their business objectives, and we support Zoomdot’s activities to share their experiences and best practices with the business community."
